See green arrow. This represents the direction the slipcover will slide, naturally, when used. Tagging along the front where the red and black fabrics meet, under cushions, every 5" should help the skirt length stay put. This also helps customer in her retucking chores.

This facing appears at deck, inside arm front bottom corner and front arm panel, inside edge. The hem and or facing protects the raw edge, and the opening allows movement at the deck. This fabric and many others would likely rip due to the deck movement. Just one solution, there are several options for this.
